Set right on The Square in the heart of Comber since 1975 McBrides On The Square is truly a flagship for community pubs. A traditional pub with modern facilities that Locals of all generations choose for the warm friendly atmosphere and the choice, quality & range of food, beer, wines & Spirits not forgetting our legendary Pints of Guinness especially while watching an Ulster Rugby game. Of course McBrides is not just a great pub, we also have an awarding winning restaurant on our first floor overlooking the Beautiful Square in Comber, there is a lift and wheelchair access throughout. The menu is based on fresh local produce and seasonal ingredients and we are pretty famous for our traditional Sunday Roasts. Our Function room caters for up to 75 people looking after all occasions, Christenings, Birthdays, Anniversarys. Coach parties, walking groups and food tours too. The Off License is packed full of wines from all over the world. We have an extensive beer & Spirit range but most of all we champion our local Gin, Vodka, Whiskey and Craftbeer makers. There is always something going on at McBrides.

Who we are
Ivan & Iris McBride, are the 2nd generaton of the McBride family at the helm. Growing up in the family business, gave us our love and passion for good traditional Ulster pubs and their role in the local community and is now at the core of everything we do. We take pride in knowing our customers names, knowing their usual drinks and making them welcome every tIme they come in. Away from work Ivan was a keen rugby player and also raced in local Motocross events, nowadays his free tIme is spent looking after his beloved classic Kawazakis. On the other hand you are more likely to find Iris up the Mournes with the family or trying out new walks with friends.
