Letters to Santa Competition
Write a letter to Santa asking what you would like for Christmas and win a Christmas present!  Post your letter in the post box at one of the following businesses in Comber.
* 18 November – 25 November: North Down House (upstairs)
* 25 November – 1 December:  Comber Post Office
* 1 December – 8 December: Maud’s Ice Cream Shop
* 8 December – 14 December: Sugarcane Cafe
 
Thursday 2 December: Christmas Comber Farmers’ Market, 9.00am – 1.00pm
Award winning artisan food market selling locally produced food and plants
 
Friday 3 December: Switch On of Christmas Trees in the Square at 5.00pm and Late Night Shopping until 7.30pm 
Christmas Shop Window judging by local celebrity Pamela Ballantine, five Christmas trees decorated by local Primary Schools, Santa arriving by tractor, Christmas jumper competition, best dressed doggie competition, hot chocolate, mince pies, and carol singing.
Please respect social distancing, wear masks and use hand sanitisers when entering shops.

Christmas Jumper Competition

Alongside Late Night Shopping in Comber on Friday 3 December, we are having a Christmas Jumper Competition.  Prizes for the winners will be announced in the run up to Christmas on our Love Local Comber Facebook and Instagram pages and on our website www.lovelocalcomber.com 

We will be judging the following:

  • BEST INDIVIDUAL JUMPER
  • BEST COUPLES JUMPER COMBO
  • BEST FAMILY SET
  • BEST DRESSED PET

There will be ‘secret judges’ walking around the main shopping areas in Comber on Friday 3rd December between 4.00pm and 7.00pm looking for potential winners! We will also have a professional photographer on hand to take as many photographs as possible so we can carefully select our champions!

Please don’t be alarmed if someone asks to take your picture, and don’t forget to keep checking our Social Media pages and website to see if you’re a winner!
